I prefer to shoot Lingerie through to Art Nude because in my opinion, the feminine form is simply stunning at these levels. Please don't ask me to shoot Fashion, I have no urge to do so and quite simply find it tedious and of little interest. I'd rather shoot something that inspires, not makes me fall asleep.
TF* WORK: This one's easy. Unless I offer it, I don't do it. If however you're going to offer me something special for my portfolio or you're simply sh*t hot and experienced, then we'll talk further. Otherwise, I will charge you for my time and as most people will tell you, I'm more than fair with my rates.
MODELS WITH LITTLE OR NO EXPERIENCE: Be under no illusions that I will not shoot you for free. If you want me to photograph you and benefit your portfolio, then I will, but WILL charge you (albeit it fairly). Too many new and existing models try to take advantage of shooting TF. Well, put simply, it won't scrub with me so don't embarass yourself by asking. Understand that this is my FULL TIME JOB, not some random hobby to take up my time when I'm bored. I work damned hard at it and have invested thousands of pounds over the years..... How much have YOU invested?? (You get what you pay for remember).
From the end of March if a shoot is booked, I expect fair and proper notice should you wish to cancel within 72 hours (3 days). Don't make any weak excuses up when cancelling, I've heard them all. Just tell me you can't make it and give me an honest answer. If you cancel with less than 72 hours to go however, I will charge you a late cancellation fee of 25% of the total booking fee to cover the time taken away from shooting to find a replacement model to fill your absence. I'm a fair person but at the end of the day, I still have a business to run.
Are welcome to escort you to the studio, but will not be allowed to watch the shoot. NO EXCEPTIONS. They can and ultimately WILL put you off and can be a right royal pain in the posterior, so sorry, no can do.
Oh, and I drink way too much coffee... :/
Well if "experience" counts as knowing what you're doing with that funny looking piece of plastic that makes a clicking sound when it takes photographs, then yeah, I guess I'm as experienced as I need to be :)
