I am thinking of hiring a hotel to do a shoot, but as I have never used one both to do a shoot I am looking for some advise and a guide on doing this. Any pointers will be very grateful.
Thanks

Do you mean you are hiring a hotel...or just a hotel room?

A room to do a shoot.

What kind of lighting gear will you be taking?

If you're using an average sized room, you'll likely need a wide-ish angle lens.

I have enough lighting kit (elinchromes) to light a professional studio.

I just stayed this weekend at a stunning hotel in Surrey. The photographer had told the hotel we'd be shooting there in advance and they'd had no problem with it - always best to be upfront and honest where possible I think. Plus makes the model feel less like an escort, lurking round the foyer looking for the photographer or, worse, having to make their own way up to the room!

If you want something a bit different try the Pavillion in Bayswater. They're photo friendly
