We often see models covered in chocolate and this was also shown on "Next Top Model"..I have made some searches but if any of you have had success with this type of shoot could you advise me as to the type of chocolate used and how it is prepared?

I am sure there are many methods but it looks smooth and syrupy..is it mixed from powder and milk or just bought as a syrup..and kept warm..??

Any help and advice appreciated!!

Hershey's chocolate syrup? It's American but you can order a 1L tub of it from amazon for about £5/6 IIRC. It's very dark though, almost like black engine oil.

Do a search on eBay for "Chocolate Body Paint". cheeky
I may as well do it. I'm gonna get blamed for it anyway.

How about the chocolate sauces you can buy from Sainsbury's and the like, used to spread on icecream etc?
I am sure a search on google will help, plus other site might have information that specialise in food/drink etc.
Each photograph I take gives me the thrill of acheiving something great, (not there yet, but i'm working on.

If it only needs to look like chocolate how about gravy mix, right colour and can be made as thick or runny as needed.

There are some imaginative replies. ..and all would work I guess. Not so sure about the gravy because I imagine one of the perks for the model is a yummy treat!!! I found the Hersheys syrup/source at half the price of Amazon. ..around £3.50ish for 650gms. Ten of these then for 6.5kg!! Should be enough I think particularly if thinned slightly!
