If you need flowers, my wife and daughter do wedding flowers, from just a bouquet to the full blown everything covered in flowers! Guaranteed to be cheaper than any florist as they only do it occasionally. (They have both done the cousres)If your interested please send me a message, as, like you, I dont actually come on the forums much.
Finally, congratulations!

Thanks everyone for the ideas - definitely given us some food for thought!

We are off to look at a couple of venues tomorrow - looking to go for it this September!

Congratulations.

Now grab his hand and an overnight case and elope.

Spend any money you have on the marriage, and not the wedding.

My wedding in 68 cost £39-10 shillings. In those days you could buy a Morris Minor, a new overcoat, get your clogs re-nailed and a pint of winkles for a groat.
That's how I remember it anyway.

Since then life has been kind and cruel but we are still smiling.

Be happy.
