Covering scars

You might try and work out exactly what lighting arrangement shows it up and make a point of warning the photographer that it will happen if they are doing something similar so it isn't a surprise. It might be that with some lighting arrangements it is simple to PShop it out...others less so.

Ive used estee lauder maximum cover and wasnt a fan-i have very pale skin and even the lightest shade is orangey on my skin!
Extreme makeup have some great products though and do products that fill indents and then colour over
Ive used them on some deep scars on my arm
I used this set and it was very good
