How do I create a 60's glam look myself. I have a hairband so was going to bouffant my hair if you know what I mean. How would you do the make up? would it be wise to go for bright red lipstick?

Thanks!! x x

Deffinate no to the red lips as 60's was a very pale lipstick.

Google images of 60's looks and you'll get an idea of the look your looking for.

Hope that helps

DEFO no red lippy!! (Red is for 40's or 50's vintage)

1960's Make-up in summery:

* Top eyeliner (medium/think - can flick very slightly if you like)

* BIG false eyelashes

* Pale eyeshadow (white or cream or baby pink etc)

* add a dark colour (grey or navy work well) just in the socket of the eye

& YES

* Pale pink - matt lipstick

YOU TUBE has lots of 1960's inspired make-up tutorials

here is just one of them

good luck & enjoy

Think Twiggy, Mary Quant, Marianne faithfull, Catherine Deneuve, Brigitte Bardon. Pale matte lips, false lashes, tons of mascara, dark socket lines created with either eyeliner or shadow, matte pale skin etc. some links to check out:
