The Location

Based in Sheffield we have exclusive use of these amazing buildings and grounds for the whole day.

Wortley Top Forge is an historic former finery forge and ironworks originally dating back to the seventeenth century, although evidence suggests iron working took place in the vicinity as early as the fourteenth century.

Beautifully decorated and styled this location is an idyllic backdrop for your portfolio shots and with exclusive and unrestricted access to the whole venue, you're sure of some amazing shots too.

The Models

Working in small groups, each photographer has ample time to shoot with all four of our experienced and talented models on the day:

The Event

The Industrial Edge Portfolio Builder Day runs between 10am-5pm on Saturday 25th June. The day starts with an introduction and tour of the venue, followed by a lighting demonstration from Andrew Appleton. There is then time to explore the venue with your fellow photographers to plan your shooting sessions.

The cost of the workshop is £199 per person. And is limited to a maximum of 16 photographers with a maximum of 4 per group.

The Gear

You will need a DSLR or CSC camera plus suitable lenses, we recommend lenses that will cover 24-200mm, however bring your kit bag and any lighting equipment you wish to create the look for your portfolio.

As always, we will be bringing a variety of lighting equipment that you are welcome to use for the day including lighting from Broncolor and Westcott Ice Lights.
