At last, I've had a few hours to update my website. I know its old and clunky, (a bit like me) it was built in a couple of hours in 2006 (I was built maybe a couple of years previously) and is basically the same now as it was then (unlike me), but its there as a resource not to be pretty...whereas I'm here just to be pretty..Smile

Of course its got lots of writing so the people who need to read it, probably still won't.

This might suitably bore photographers who aspire to make money from model photography.

This should bore all models, but most would still benefit from reading.

And this will bore everybody, but it really is something that a lot of people and particularly just about EVERY model would benefit from reading.

PS. Maybe some kind person can make the links clickable...I just don't have the technology...

It is of course just one person's opinion... and other opinions are available.

Pretty much spot on and well worth reading. Excellent.

I wish some of my models would read "Pre-shoot preparation" on your website. But then I am only an amateur so I tend to tolerate lesser standards. I have had lingerie shoots where the model's shoes are caked in dried mud and it seems quite common for model's outfits to look like they have been just thrown in a bag and have never seen an iron.

But I digress- this is all excellent advice.

It's not a topic that applies to me, but it's still a good, informative read; I have referred back to your model prep list several times to remind myself of things that some models need reminding of too.

Thanks for sharing Iain.

I would highly recommend smugmug to host your website.
