Hi everyone i am completely new to modelling i am wanting to give it a go, i am wondering if anyone could give me abit of advice to maximise my chances of getting shoots i would enjoy

Well I don't rate your chances in the glamour market but maybe IanT will put me right on that. You will struggle here as male models are not in much demand, though you do have height on your side. I would suggest looking around the profiles of other male models to see who they have worked with and what images yo think you could have done better. Then perhaps approach photographers near you doing the style of work you want to aim at to see if they would be willing to collaborate. Have a clear idea of something you want to do that fits with there current work first though. Perhaps the first images should show you a bit more pumped up. Keeping fit is important with any modelling. (Just as well I'm not a model then )You will need to show a range though. Remember too that these sites, in particular the forums, are strange little islands that bear little relation to the wider world of modelling, which is better represented in the magazine section of WH Smith than the portfolios on here, mine included.

I thought the glamour market for males was mostly gay porn anyway, unless things have changed recently.

I wasnt sure in the categories what each one meant so i ticked most boxes lol.. thankyou for that redbaron i shall look around and see what i would enjoy and i am working on my muscle definition to possibly increase my chances in getting more work thanks
