I have searched everywhere for a suitable outdoor location but cannot find anything, and looked at Studiosforhire and all the sites.  Does ANYONE know of a studio with a private garden in the above counties ?

No idea how private the gardens are, might be worth an enquiry though:

Also, it would be worth a chat with this guy - his studio is on a boatyard set in extensive grounds:

Thanks for those but I have already seen these and rejected them.

Ah OK. Well the only other one I can think of at the moment is John Tritton in Ashford:

What is a suitable outdoor location?
Why has it got to have a studio attached to it?
I have got out locally and found a good number of locations that when I can afford it I can shoot from.

It does not have to have a studio attached to it, and I have outdoors locations on the North Downs in Surrey, also near Ruislip and in Reading but due to the constraints of the clients, as they are traveling from the Hastings area to Cambridge, it would have to be somewhere on that route. Thanks for mentioning John Tritton marlhamphoto, I will email him, and I will also contact Riverside Studio's as I just remembered seeing photographs taken at the boatyard, although my brief was to find a location (private of course) in the English countryside. Graham, thanks for the Eastbury Manor link, not suitable for this but definitely something to bookmark for the future.

For cambridge are windmill studio has loads of outside space on my phone so it's a pain to copy in a link.

There is also a place on studios for hire in herts called oaks studio which has great grounds and is not a million miles off the m11

I have been given Oak Studios and I did have a look at Windmill in Cambridge as that's on Studiosforhire.

Thanks.

Riverside studio's is more than just a boatyard. There is woodlands, fields, gardens and grassland too. As well as the boatyard, there is also the river and a small studio. Marco is extremely helpful and his prices cant really be beaten.

That's all very well but Marco can't make a decent cup of tea to save his life
