'Adult' castings

Can the red text that explains what 'adult' means, be made larger (pref. in bold) when setting up a casting as some people are still not seeing it and understanding what it means.

Perhaps having a gap below the adult/non-adult radio buttons where this appears rather than putting it to one side.

You could write it in flashing neon and make it take up the whole screen and some people still wouldn't see or understand it.

I understand that some people don't have 'adult' on their profile, as it's something they only do now and again.

But I suspect that a person who hasn't ticked topless, nude or fetish really isn't going to wake up one morning and cast for an 'adult' shoot. Perhaps the adult casting tickbox shouldn't even be available for them to select.

I posted this after seeing someone wanting some TF? engagement pictures of themselves with their boyfriend (outdoor ones, happy couple shots) and it was flagged as 'adult'. Clearly this wasn't an adult shoot but you still see this happen from time to time in castings where the theme of said casting is completely harmless so it's not obvious to everyone what 'adult' actually means.

I think people, particularly "newbies", assume "adult" just means the person or people in the shots will be grown ups.

I think thats probably correct. I don't think there is anything the site can do though, making the letters bigger won't change the fact that people see and interpret things in the way it suits them. As long as everybody is ultimately clear as to whats expected from a shoot there is no real issue.

I cant even begin to imagine the lack of intelligence that would accompany such an assumption. To see things like Topless, Glamour, Fetish and then Adult and to think Adult, in that list, meant they are all grown ups. Someone like that... I'd be concerned they'd have problems walking and breathing at the same time.

If you make a casting call for a fetish genre, you're required by the rules to tick the Adult flag, even if the shoot is fully clothed and has no "Adult" content.

As a result, nearly all my castings have had the "Adult" flag, and to clarify matters I often add "This is NOT an Adult shoot" in the title.

I don't have "Adult" selected in my list of work genres on my profile, because I'm not seeking models for "Adult" shoots as generally udnerstood (and fairly clearly defined) here.

It's not as extraordinary as you may think and it's not just newbies and stupid* people.

For people involved in commercial pay sites, even a site that depicts fully clothed women wearing uniforms or flashing their panties are classified as "Adult web sites" and this terminology is used fairly consistently by acquiring banks, payment processors, and gateway providers. If I hadn't seen prominent descriptions (and, later, threads discussing the terminology) I would very certainly have "Adult" currently ticked on my profile for this reason, even though I'm not looking to hire models for genres that are "Adult" under the definition  used by Purestorm.

* Admittedly, I may well be stupid, but even if so, that wasn't the reason for not knowing intuitively that "Adult" had a different meaning here.

I know the 'fetish rule' which is why I was very careful in my post to mention that those who have 'fetish' in their pofile should be able to select 'adult' when they create a casting.

May I ask why you don't fave 'fetish' on your profile, if (as you say) 'nearly all my castings' are fetish?

Understood: I mentioned that to clarify it for anyone who wasn't aware of this and may have not have realised the significance in this context.

There isn't a box for Fetish.

I don't actually do "glamour", but since "Nude" and "Topless" aren't genres in my case but just (sometimes) elements of my shoots, I felt I had to tick at least one item that I do consider a genre, peferrably one that indicates that my shoots have a sexual rather than artistic purpose, and  "glamour" seems the best fit.

My profile notes say in the first sentence that I shoot fetish content, though.
