I have been in discussion with a model I know very well about doing a shoot over the coming months. The trouble is we are struggling for the right location. We both live in the New Forest so we have discussed an outdoor shoot, but really indoor or outdoor is fine. If it was to be outdoor then some sort of brickwork would be good, like an old wall or a dericlict building etc. the problem is I don't really know anywhere quiet and secluded enough for a nude shoot, especially at this time of year! Is there anyone out there who could help me with some suggestions?
Hi Rich, these are locations close to me, not ideal for art nude but depending on the time of day might be able to shoot some limited levels: These are all within a mile or two of each other
Fort Nelson part of the National Armouries and has part of the Iraqi Super gun on show: http://www.royalarmouries.org/visit-us/fort-nelson Great external brickwork, most days is free entry and the tunnels are brilliant. If you walk around the moat externally to find a secluded area you could be ok with nude!
Portchester Castle: http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/daysout/properties/portchester-castle/ On the shore line due North of Portsmouth Harbour
Port Solent for boardwalks and yacht's: http://www.portsolent.com/
For views / sunsets and possible art nude try Old Winchester Hill: http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/ourwork/conservation/designations/nnr/1006115.aspx
They look great! Thanks for the links. I've been to Fort Nelson before and thought it would be a great location for a shoot, could be tough to do an art nude shoot there, although I didn't know you could walk around the external walls. I might have to do a recon mission there!
I'm kicking myself a bit because a few years ago a model told me about a brilliant abandoned castle ruins and I can't for the life of me remember where it was.
