Video footage has emerged online of the moment a police community support officer was arrested for drink-driving - by the police he had called in for backup during an argument with a motorist.

Footage recently posted on YouTube claims to show PCSO Andrew Seston, 44, being arrested after calling for back-up having stopped Irfan Mehrban near a school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire on 23 April last year.

Police who attended the scene suspected Seston had been drinking and breathalysed him.

Seston, who has since resigned from his position, was found to be nearly twice over the legal driving limit and was arrested at the scene.

He was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £110 on 17 May 2013.

Mr Mehrban said he was stopped by Seston on Edmond Road, Lane End after collecting his children from school.

He told Metro he then called police himself while Seston was awaiting back-up because he could smell alcohol on the former officer’s breath.
"He asked me to get out of the car, so I did because I was at home. I asked him why he stopped me, and he said he thought he could smell cannabis,’ Mr Mehrban said.

“It was then I smelled his breath and I was like “whoa”. He stank of alcohol. I don’t drink and I don’t do drugs, so I started arguing with him because he was drunk.

“It was then that he called for back-up and I rang the police myself. When the other police turned up and arrested him, it was the absolute definition of justice.”

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said it is not commenting on the incident as Seston is no longer employed by the force.

Just as well he resigned, it was not for him, he was more than likely of an IQ level well above the average pcso requirement anyway
