Studio Lighting Course at Millwood Photography Studios Greater Manchester starts 20th Jan over 6 weeks

6 Week Studio Lighting Course at Millwood Photography Studios Stalybridge. Our first Lighting Course starts on Monday January 20th from 7.30pm until 9.30pm and will run for six weeks. The course is highly practical and will incorporate the use of professional models as test subjects. The course will teach all the aspects needed to become proficient in all aspects of studio work. Course cost is £89 inclusive of refreshments and course handouts etc.

Light Control Familarisation
Light Modifiers
The Lighting Triangle
Using a Light Meter
Single Light Practical

Week 2
Using a Second Light or Reflector
Lighting Ratios
Broad Lighting/Short Lighting
Two Light exercise

Week 3
Using Multiple Lights
Lighting for a White Background
Lighting for a Black Background
Shooting Tethered
Brief Introduction to Lightroom
Practical Exercise

Week 4
The Lighting Plan
Working with Models
The Model Release
Practical Exercise

Week 5 & 6
Directed practice with models using the sets and three models
