For me a no show would be no prior notice or indication from the other party that they are not going to turn up. A cancellation within 18 hours is exactly that, and at least saves you travelling to the shoot location or sitting around for ages trying to make contact to work out what is going on.

A no show is a lot worst than a late cancellation. With some notice, you can often book another model if they let you know the day before.

A no show is hideous......a late cancellation is slightly less hideous!

A no show tells me the other party does'nt give a dam about you and your time you've put in towards the shoot going ahead.

A cancellation tells me the other party has had something happen in there live to have to cancel all be it ligit or not.

Its always polite to let them know as soon as possible for what ever reason.

It may not be nice when this happens but s--t does hit the fan sometimes.

If someone no showed on me i would leave negative feed back but on a late cancellation i would'nt bother but thats just me to easy going i suppose.

If you contact the photgrapher in the last eighteen hours before a booked shoot to cancel
the arrangement it is a Late Cancellation, but if you do not cancel beforehand it is a No-Show.
