This one's more apt for most on here:

I have actually seen this plate ~16/17 years ago (didn't think it was an Isle of Man plate though) , I can only assume this is the same owner but with a newer Merc, I saw it on a red C-Class (the early '90s boxy ones) with full body kit, black alloys, spoiler & tinted windows, utter heap of shit so the plate suited the guy at the time.

ESS3X. Was a bargain at just over £6k. Believe it's on sale for now £50k.
Won't post a pic as it has one of our wedding couples on it.

There's one near me, which is C110 PER, on one of those American muscle cars, he's fiddled with the spacing and added a black screw cap to make it read CHOPER. Don't think he knows he's missing a P.

My favourite was OBO 110X which was "O BOLLOX"

Once had the plate NES51E. Bought it on an old mk2 Cortina. The nickname stuck for years after I sold the plate!

Best I've seen was a big Beamer H15 TOY came over on a Wight link ferry from the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth when I worked there some years back, can just imagine the money needed to own that car and plate. If that was his toy what else did he own?
