My favourite fashion photographer Parkinson was on BBC4 last night, hope you all watched it and enjoyed it.

It has invigorated me to get my cameras out now the awful winter is finally disappearing.

Not really worth beating yourself up about missing anything on TV these days is it?

Everything is repeated either one hour later, the following day, on demand, or on a sister-channel (advertised as "new" of course).
The days of not going out to avoid missing a good programme are long gone.

Dave.
p.s. I probably will catch one of the repeats though!

Update.

The link I posted earlier to the iplayer is now working. The show is online, (and free) for those who can't wait for the repeat.

I've a couple of coffee table books featuring his beautiful work too...watched the tv programme and was transfixed by the sheer clarity of his photography, not to mention in later years the amazing sets he featured his stunning models in.

Carmen Dell'Orefice, one of his amazing models from the age of 17, (she started modelling at 13), is now in her 80's and still modelling...and looking good.

A programme well worth watching if you missed it the first time. The talented chap had a great sense of ironic humour too...
