Studio Experience Day at J16 Studio near Crewe, Cheshire.

Saturday 16th February 2013

10.30 am -4.30 am


This workshop is for those photographers wishing to gain initial or further experience within a studio setting.

Some general photographic knowledge is preferable as is a DSLR camera, but is not essential as long as your camera has a hotshoe mount to allow for the correct triggering of studio flash.

Our model for the day will again be an experience and photogenic model who will be posing for portraiture, beauty, lifestyle and fashion to give you a good understanding of how each look is created.

You will be taught through a mixture of theory and practical work:

A basic overview of studio photography
Essential studio equipment
How to use studio flash
How to use continuous lighting
Posing your subject
Lighting set ups (High & Low Key)
How to plan your own studio shoot

You will leave with the knowledge of how to work confidently in a studio environment and will have some great images from the days for your portfolios.

The cost of this workshop is just £49 per person and includes refreshments and buffet lunch.

A £25 non refundable deposit is required to book your place.

J16 Workshops are always run with small groups to allow maximum of just six photographersso you will need to hurry if you would also like to attend places will go quickly.
