You do realise they're expecting you to plug all your devices into an AV Amp rather than directly into this. The Yamaha RX-A3020 for instance has 8x HDMI inputs (with 4k passthrough)

I bought one of these a few months ago, but there is hardly anything worth watching these days.

Not bad, when are you getting it?  We would need to get  structural engineers in to take the floor out of our bedroom, to enable it to fit in the front room (because of its height)...At that price you could buy a mansion with sea views here in Cornwall...

Tv is custom made, 5 months to deliver with an annual maintenance visit.  Also you have to have a site survey with specialist logistics, I should imagine all that adds a few quid to the cost although shipping and delivery is included, so you may save a few pennies there.

At least it supports the new 4K2K standard which means it won’t be out of date in a couple of years or so, though the 3D side still uses glasses, so it’s not completely technologically complete.

We still have a 25 year old tv...had to have it fixed recently and the repair man reckoned it was better than a lot of flat screen ones these days, which only last 5 mins.

Indeed we use to have two tv's - but the more modern one blew up...

Last weekend, we were given a flat screen tv (from a house clearance sale)...hubby got it going, only to find the screen was internally broken and only half picture showing.

I love our old telly!
