Studio Experience Day at J16 Studio near Crewe, Cheshire.
Sunday 20th May 2012
10.30 am -4.30 am
This workshop is for those photographers wishing to gain initial or further experience within a studio setting.
Some general photographic knowledge is preferable as is a DSLR camera, but is not essential as long as your camera has a hotshoe mount to allow for the correct triggering of studio flash.
Our model for the day will again be Sophie Wilson a very experience and photogenic model who will be posing for portraiture, beauty, lifestyle and fashion to give you a good understanding of how each look is created.
You will be taught through a mixture of theory and practical work:
A basic overview of studio photography
Essential studio equipment
How to use studio flash
How to use continuous lighting
Posing your subject
Lighting set ups (High & Low Key)
How to plan your own studio shoot
You will leave with the knowledge of how to work confidently in a studio environment and will have some great images from the days for your portfolios.
