Studio Experience Day at J16 Studio, near Crewe, Cheshire. Sunday 15th April 2012 10.30 am -4.30 am This workshop is for those photographers wishing to gain initial or further experience within a studio setting. Some general photographic knowledge is preferable as is a DSLR camera, but is not essential as long as your camera has a hotshoe mount to allow for the correct triggering of studio flash. Our model for the day is Sophie a very experience and photogenic model who will be posing for portraiture, beauty, lifestyle and fashion to give you a good understanding of how each look is created. Sophie: You will be taught through a mixture of theory and practical work: - A basic overview of studio photography - Essential studio equipment - How to use studio flash - How to use continuous lighting - Posing your subject - Lighting set ups (High & Low Key) - How to plan your own studio shoot You will leave with the knowledge of how to work confidentially in a studio environment and will have some great images from the days for your portfolios. The cost of this workshop is just £45 per person and includes refreshments and buffet lunch. Due to the nature of the workshop there will be a maximum of just six photographers and three places have already gone prior advertising the workshop, so you will need to hurry if you would also like to attend. A £20 non refundable deposit is required to book your place. Please contact me to find out more information or to book your place.
