The secret is getting out there and finding them, ones nobody else knows about.. Aye it costs money/ time and patience but everyone else generally has to do it. I used to scout about every month or two in my local area so I had a list of locations at hand ready to suggest as shoot locations to photographers, it was a fantastic selling point having access or being able to locate such wonderful places.
Websites like - 28 days later and searching the key word - urban exploring generally comes up with some information on locations, all you have to do is find them and get into them.
firstly i was thinking of Beth using the location and id be happy to work with her at these locations, but as you ask Martin its on a Private farm just outside Chippenham. we used the location for part of a group shoot a while ago, http://www.pixel-8.biz/train2324_10_10.html
you will need a guide as there isnt a track to it its in a wood, plus the owners permission, both of which i provided for the group shoot ( i sort out most of the locations and props for pixel 8 location shoots ),
but thats the easy bit.
if you fancy joining us on the next one its at a Livery Stable nr Box on 22nd April, Paul will be advertising it in due course.
