I've noted a few castings in the past that are marked as adult when the model states they don't do adult on their profile. I think some models still believe that 'adult' means that they're over-18...
You get a brief description "Adult means graphic open leg shots...." when you change from non- to adult in the pull down menu, so it's not like people are unaware, but still they get through far too often.
There's one there now, the models levels show she doesn't do any form of nudity, the wording of her casting doesn't say she's having a one-off or has secret levels, yet it's still badged as 'adult'.
The problem with this is that if the model decides to withdraw 'Adult' as a style from her profile, will her adult castings remain active?
There was a model who posted adult castings for UK Mag work & then, as some models do, deselected 'Adult' from her profile. I contacted her for this work & received a "hi , not trying to be rude , but my profile advises levels i do...". I've no problem with that except she still has one of her castings (Then only 26 days old) advertising open-leg work (Otherwise I'd not have been able to see it). I've mentioned this to said model & the casting is still active with the same wording. This was only 2.5 weeks ago.
I agree in principle to Peter's suggestion if it can work fully from day one.
ie. Deselecting adult makes all castings marked as 'Adult' inactive.
Whilst I agree with what has been said, I believe the whole "adult" thing is So open to personal interpretation that it's just a mess. Yes, we can quote rules and so on, but let's face it - most don't actually read them.
As an example, I was looking for a tattooed model to pose nude. Not Adult in the definition of it, closer to art nude - but I earmarked it as "adult"... why? To keep away the more silly people. But you know, I've heard from more than a few models who see I do fetish, see I look for naked and equate it all with porn / adult.

People may have their own interpretations, but within Purestorm, it's fairly easily defined as 'open leg, genitalia clearly visible' by both rule and consent.
If you're willing to spread your legs and let people take pictures of whats on show, then it's an 'adult' casting. If not, then it isn't.
Adult castings saying "I work up to Art Nude" just waste everyones time, and shouldn't be actually possible to make, either by accident r design, unless he model has stated she's willing to undertake adult work on her profile by ticking the appropriate box. (Obviously, in my opinion)
