Nymphae, the first part of your statement is really inaccurate.
It takes a LOT for women to gain substantial amounts of muscle - as in, a shitload of exercise and a very prohibitive diet and usually additional supplements. Using weights is great for toning and gaining strength and won't make you look like a bodybuilder unless you really really want to and put a lot of effort into it.
Lastly- I would like to hear how other models keep trim without the use of a gym (excluding anything about having a healthy diet- as I have that part of my new getting active programme sorted).
I'm sure if she wanted professional advise, she would have asked relative persons. Posting this question on a modelling forum suggests she wants to hear advises from other models.
I can see she liked your reply and didn't like mine, but she just might be one of those who don't want to believe that things can be more simple than she thinks, but a LOT think like that and I don't blame them - it would be boring if we were all the same. Beside as I already said - it all starts in your head - if putting more effort than required will make you feel better - do it!
