Hi... I just wanted to ask for advice about getting insurance? does most insurance companies cover this or do you have to go to a specialist? Also how much roughly is it going to cost and what does it cover you for? At the min I'm only carrying my make-up wotrk out as a hobby at weekends (due to needing a stable income) but I do plan to become fully freelance at some point. Any help or advice appreciated!!

Was your Theatrical & Media Make up Course a VTCT qualification? If so you can get insurance through Vocasure who will insure you for eveything covered on the course. You'll need to send them a copy of your certificate.
You could also try Simply Business.

Make sure that they cover you for all your business tools as well as actual kit, and for while you're travelling with your kit.
