His studio is perfectly fitted out so we were able to easily get some good shots that worked well. I am really pleased with the results that we produced together. I have used Brian's studio a couple of times this week and thorougly enoyed my experience on both occasions. Brian helped me immensely with the lighting and also offered to pick me up from the station for a shoot I had with one of the models today (Saturday). I would be happy to recommend Brian's studio to any model or photographer without hesitation.

My main interest is art nude coupled with creative lighting, using gels and gobo projections. However I am happy to shoot most genres and am always interested in the ideas that the models and photographers have that come to my studio.

As you may have gathered I am getting on a bit but if you give me notice I can get to bed before my usual 9 o'clock and get to the studio early if you want an early start or a long session:-)

This is a relatively new 'photographers' profile for me so I am short of comments on here. However you will find plenty on my studio profile, user name photo39, (ID Number 140774)

I was introduced to photography by my father who was in the Fire Service. Together with his usual firefighting duties he was responsible for photographing fire damaged premises.

At the age of about 12, during school holidays, I used to help develop and contact print the 21/4" square black and white negatives. Selected images were then enlarged to a minimum of 10x8.

Over subsequent years I have used a number of the photographic formats as they 'appeared'. Polaroid, 110, 35mm, APS, medium format etc.

The introduction of auto focus by Minolta influenced my decision to buy into their system, the 7000. Having purchased a number of Minolta bodies, lenses and accessories over the years have stuck with this 'stable' and now use the Sony Alpha900 digital camera. Not yet accepted in the professional world I know, but with what is considered the clearest, and true 100% viewfinder, coupled with the 'G' and Zeiss lenses gives me all I need.
