Had a great shoot with Ian, pre shoot communication was great. He met me at the station and we discussed the various locations he had access to before driving to one. During the shoot he was friendly, easy going and good with direction. A really fun shoot! A pleasure to work with, would highly recommend!

Let me start by saying I am very stubborn when it comes to photos of me and had a camera phobia! The fact this guy got me to LOVE photos of myself is a miracle. Despite all the obsticles (the shoot being on friday the 13th!) That consisted of traffic, me being nervous, train cancellations and delays and one of the studio lights going faulty on us! He got some great shots, and I can't wait to see the rest of them. Thanks ian xXx

Ian was a pleasure to work with during a group photoshoot at an airfield in Bicester a couple of months ago. We had a great chat in the car on the way there and back again, and I found him to be 100% professional & dedicated to getting some great shots. We both posted a casting on Purestorm before going on holiday to Algarve, Portugal. We arranged the date and time. Ian was so nice and picked me up, drove us to a fabulous deserted sandy beach and then dropped me off back at the hotel. The communication was great. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during the shoot. The shoot was very enjoyable and the results are excellent. I received a DVD with the photos very soon after the shoot and I’m very pleased with the images. Ian is very professional and a really nice person to work with. I would definitely recommend Ian to other models. I’d like to add that I’m very impressed with Ian’s wild life work.

Ian was fantastic to work with from the start, very easy to contact when arranging to shoot. He was on time, waiting for us to arrive at the meeting point. As I am not majorly experienced he was fab, very helpfull, gave clear directions and had lots of ideas to get great pics! I recieved a CD of images this morning, and hopefully the second set tomorrow - The pictures have come out lovely, I'm very pleased with the results! I would deffinately recomend Ian to anyone in the industry. He is friendly, easy to get on with and clearly very experienced. Thanks Ian :)

Depends on assignment
My favourite photographic subjects are travel and wildlife, but I also enjoy portraiture and glamour. I photograph models solely for my own enjoyment, my images aren't submitted for publication or profit, so I prefer to shoot a model on a TFP basis initially, using scenic outdoor locations as backdrops for my images. Most of my shoots take place in the summer and if you prove reliable and capable I also arrange group location shoots throughout the summer on a payment basis. However I won't do this until a model has proved herself 100% reliable.

My one 'claim to fame' if you might call it that, is discovering Katie Green, currently one of the UK's top models, - arranging her first series of photoshoots, guiding her through the early stages of her career, assembling her portfolio and introducing her to other photographers. I'd love to find another aspiring model as genuine, keen to learn, reliable, readily contactable and, more often than not, readily available at short notice for any shoot, as she was.

Chaperone policy etc:
If you wish to bring a chaperone along to a photoshoot you're welcome to do so as long as you don't bring your boyfriend, - one too many experiences of grins and winks distracting the model! It interferes with the rapport between the photographer and the model. None of the professional models I use deem a chaperone to be necessary. If you're more comfortable bringing someone with you, feel free to bring your mum, dad, your auntie, a neighbour or the assistant from Sainsbury's, however if you need a lift to a location I'm not prepared to ferry a chaperone too, sorry.
I feel it's imperitive to have a contact number prior to a shoot. If you're not prepared to give me your mobile number or some such immediate means of contact other than Purestorm messages, then arrangements for a shoot will inevitably falter!

Wide ranging photographic experience on a semi-professional basis since the 1990's.
Joint winner of the prestigeous 'Heart of Britain' Photographic Award in 1996.
Photographer for French Life International 2000 - 2003.
I currently undertake general photographic assignments such as weddings and family portraiture together with the creation of modelling portfolio's, and submission of travel-related images to a major UK picture agency.
And as of 5th April 2012, a contributor to Getty Images.

A wonderful shoot in June 2018 on the most dismal of evenings, I can only highly recommend Elegana for her tenacity and sense of purpose, - and the results were stunning!
Several shoots both in studio and on location
Beach shoot, Seaford,West Sussex
Beach shoot at Lulworth Cove, Dorset
Two years of fabulous shoots at The Witterings in West Sussex, secluded Surrey lakes, an abandoned abbey, a beach shoot at Seaford in East Sussex and the Goodwood Revival. Penelope was probably the best model I ever worked with and had a bright future ahead of her. Tragically her life was cut short last year, (2017.) I am proud to have worked with her so often, on such varied shoots, and over such an extended period of time.
Several fashion shoots over several years including a bluebell shoot in Kent, an empty house shoot, abandoned abbey and a riverside shoot in Surrey
Shoots at a secluded lake in Hampshire and an abandoned abbey in Surrey
Studio shoot in Arundel, West Sussex
Fashion shoot at an abandoned abbey
Several shoots including a bluebell shoot at Winkworth Arboretum in Surrey
Fashion shoot at an abandoned abbey
Several shoots over a period of years including an organised group shoot on luxury yacht hired from Southampton on the Solent
Organised group shoot at an airfield Biscester incorporating a glider
Introduced Katie to modelling, and over a period of two/three years to photographers and studio work until her professional career took off.
Several shoots over a period of years, including abandoned abbey and poppy field group shoots
Fashion shoot, secluded lakeside setting
