Thanks for viewing my profile.
I am an enthusiastic and thoughtful photographer, always looking for a new challenge and new ideas to expand my own portfolio. I take photos because I love it and hope to make a photoshoot a fun experience. I have an good sized studio in an impressive listed building in Middlesbrough, which as well as serving as a base is now available for hire to other photographers (see Purestorm entry under Boho4Studio).
I always have a number of projects on the go (see my casting calls), I welcome the opportunity to work with models of all degrees of experience as well as MUAs, stylists etc and those still looking to learn and develop. I am always happy to consider collaborating on a TF basis, if I believe it will be to our mutual benefit otherwise I am happy to help with porfolios for a very reasonable contribution towards my costs. I am happy to travel within the Northern area and Yorkshire.
On occasions, where a project has a commercial aspect, or will otherwise be to my advantage I am willing to offer a reasonable rate to experienced professional models, but please don't be offended if I decline unsolicited requests for paid shoots.
I am equally comfortable working on location (outdoors), in the studio or even in a home environment.
I have access to a number of interesting and beautiful locations, some of which are private. I possess some portable studio and video lighting, so can set up anywhere there is mains power, or alternatively can make use of Speedlights and/or good old natural lighting.
I particularly enjoy portraits, fashion art, concept and story telling, and look to capture the beauty and character of a model and match that to the idea of the shoot. I have something of a classical fine art and architecture background - so that will inform my vision. You can see more of my images, including a wider range of subjects on my personal website (andygreenphotos.co.uk - though currently it is very out of date).
Please note - I am not keen on airbrushed images and restrict my own image editing to the 'development' facilities of LightRoom - I rarely use Photoshop and the effects you can see on my images here were created 'on set' or on location.
If you are a model who is interested in working with me, whatever level of experience, feel free to send me a message. I always respond to messages.
Also do get in touch if you would like to be added to the studio's model register - though I will only include models I can personally recommend, so if we have not shot yet contact me and ask about a test shoot.

The 50's wedding dress worn by Seamstress sugar is her own design made from a WWII parachute! She also made the gown worn by Little Gem and the HEM jewellery and accessories.
The Period/Historical costumes and some of the vintage/retro were made by graduates of the Northern College of Costume see www.northerncollegeofcostume.co.uk
Some of the jewelry, accessories and clothes are by Aura Valougue.
Some outfits modelled here by Kate Ashley were designed by Heidi Harper - see www.Radioactivedreams.co.uk.
In many of the images here, makeup was done by the model, some of whom are talented makeup artists in their own right (Dani-Elle has a great gift for dramatic hair and makeup). Some of photos of Mix, Seamstress Sugar and Kittyfly feature the work of "MakeupStar" Patrycja Firmanty. Other makeup artists featured here include Ashley Smith and Smugworks Makeup Artistry.
