I have now had nine shoots with Emma. Each has got better and better. Last Tuesday we finally got to work outside - in the environment – in semi woodland bathed in glorious sunshine.
Why am I so keen to work with Emma. Take as given her modelling professionalism – ideal comms – lots of outfits etc, etc. Emma has a beautiful, svelte body, unblemished and totally natural. Her eyes are filled with life and vitality – an aspect of her dynamic personality - you never get a bored or empty expression from Emma. She has an amazing sense of feeling - a sensitivity which she pours into every shot - making her superb for every type of modelling and particularly art nude.
Add to that her sense of fun, her playfulness and her serious thought - which make shoot pass far far too quickly - and you have the ideal model.
And last Tuesday add the atmospheric sunshine to the sunshine of Emma and you get a day of blissful happiness. Now I am desperately hoping we can find a suitable day to fit in a shoot at Flamborough Head.
I awoke this morning with a profound sense of gratitude. Emma had provided me with images that I had longed for and striven for - all my life. Images that were just beautiful and amazing. Images that were in my opinion sublime. Yesterday we had finally managed to fit all the pieces of the environmental shoot into place, her opportunity, my opportunity, the tides, the weather and the peaceful stillness. We fitted in yesterday the much projected shoot at Flamborough Head. Emma continued as she had done in the woodlands shoot two weeks ago. She brought the same svelte body, the same powerfully expressive face, the same sensitivity, but this time to a even more dramatic environment.
I cannot thank Emma enough for her sympathetic and reassuring guiding arm over the wobbly boulders and seaweed slime on the rocks we encountered there. And I have to pay tribute to her driving that took us there - both qualities beyond the calling of a photographic model - but so very much appreciated. And naturally her serious thought, her sense of fun, and playfulness which I mentioned a fortnight ago which make her, as I said, the ideal model. But the images she produced ….. they were from another world.
After a totally remarkable set of images taken at Flamborough, what more could I hope for. Another glorious sunny day was promised and so of course I could not resist booking Emma again - this time for a shoot round and about and partly in the very nearby Barley Fields which inspired the name of my photographic business. This fitted with the short term notice I could give to a very accommodating Emma, and we set off to wander through the fields. Emma is fablous company so very companiable and resourceful. I got another shed load of exciting - indeed superb images which will take me weeks to work through – every one deserving of so much careful attention. What more can I say about Emma that I have not already said. I’ve mentioned her beautiful trim body, her amazing facial expressions so full of rich life, and her superb company. Quite simply she is magic in front of a camera in fact a genius in the art.
