I am seeking to broaden my portfolio. I am particularly interested in more editorial/fashion style shots to raise my market profile and provide the attention grabbers that I need to stand out from the masses. As my main focus is weddings, models with classic looks would be my main target for initial shoots, with more edgy and alternative looks for later work.
I have had a camera in hand since I was a teenager and I have been building up a wedding photography business slowly over the last couple of years, with some side ventures into portraits and other stuff as the jobs turn up. I've had some formal training in studio and portraiture work via the College of Building and printing up in Glasgow (now amalgamated and renamed of course), but am mostly self taught. As well as my professional site for weddings, portrait and fashion, I keep a regular Flickr account to feature the photography that is done just for fun, covering a wider range of subjects, events and styles.
I like my shoots to be fun and relaxed, and have had fun this year broadening my repertoire with more fashion and portrait work.
