I now shoot only for publication on adult websites, at US mag or continental level. I no longer work at UK magazine, art nude level or below, although my portfolio necessarily shows such images. As a freelance content provider, I submit my work to an adult paysite for publication. I exclusively work with websites which respect the models who appear on them and I will not shoot for any site which degrades or demeans its models. I only shoot solo female content.
I will seek prior approval from the publishing website on the basis of casting shots before I undertake a full shoot with a model so that publication is assured. This is not my rule but a rule of the client sites I work for. The client will need to see full nude standing shots (closed leg) from front, back and both sides, plus a face shot. They must be recent (within 3 months) and completely unedited (NO photoshop whatsoever). Published, edited shots are not acceptable.
I am always seeking models aged between 18 and 24. I require two proofs of ID and one of those must be a photo ID, preferably a valid passport or a driving licence. I cannot shoot you without these and you will also need to sign model release documents.
You must be prepared to work to adult solo level in both stills and video. If you have experience at these levels, that is fine, but I am more than happy to direct you if you haven't. New models are preferred.
Dress size should be between UK 6 and 10. Breast size is not important but my client sites will not accept breast enhancements. They will also not accept dyed or bleached hair. Tattoos are always a disadvantage and may disqualify you from working with me. If you have them, I will need photographs of them before booking you. If you arrive at a shoot and surprise me with tattoos, I will not be able to work with you. You may be shaved or have pubic hair, depending on the assignment.
I ocaasionally have some opportunities for mature models aged 30 and over, meeting the above criteria.but hardly any opportunities for models between 25 and 29.
I want my work to capture the personality of the model and this is much more important than modelling experience. I need a confident, relaxed and happy look to the pictures and videos. I prefer models who have not yet been published and some clients will not accept models who have been published already. You need to look like a happy "girl-next-door", not like a fashion model. Ideally, you would use very little makeup or even none at all. The "model look" is not what my clients want. The fine art look is not what my clients want. I do not produce art either for you or for myself. I do not edit or enhance images.
I will treat you with respect, I will not touch you and I will do everything to ensure you feel safe and comfortable and have an enjoyable experience working with me. The shoot will be conducted in a wholly professional manner but I promise it will be fun. Smiles and laughs make great photos.
I also expect you to treat me with respect and this means replying to pre-shoot communication and turning up at the agreed time and place. I have only had one no-show but it is an experience I do not want to have again. I would also appreciate Purestorm feedback from you after the shoot. I regard this as part of the respect and I would expect to leave feedback for you. It is of course purely voluntary but I am more likely to offer repeat work to models who choose to leave feeback.
I pay for completion of a job, not by hourly rate. A job can be a full long day or can be split over two shorter consecutive days. It is more comfortable for you to arrive the night before, especially if working at these levels is new to you. I can provide accommodation for you at my home if you wish. If you want to be accommodated with a partner, you will need to find a nearby hotel. I provide all food and I can cater for any special diets provided you give me some advance notice. The fee is for completion of the job, not per day, not per part of a day and not per hour. It is usually around £500 for a shoot at my home that typically takes about 10 hours. I will agree a fee with you before booking you and this will be inclusive of all expenses.
I do not allow chaperones, partners, boyfriends etc on shoots at my home. You are welcome to have someone bring you to a shoot and collect you afterwards but they must leave during the shoot. If you feel that you need a chaperone then you may either book a suitable studio for 10 hours at your own expense or decline to work with me.
Please contact me at any time if you feel you would like to work with me. I promise it will be fun. I encourage you to read my references and contact any models I have worked with.
I have established a relationship with a group of sites where I have published content, mainly because I have demonstrated to them that I can shoot in the style they require. I have many years experience of photography, including landscape, nature and macro.
All the models I have worked with have laughed a lot (in a good way!). I will treat you in a respectful but friendly way and I am confident that you will enjoy the process of working with me. I pay in cash, in full, at the end of each shoot. Please feel free to make direct contact with any of the models in my portfolio. You can also contact the owner of Yorkshire Studios in Keighley.
I place casting calls occasionally but much of my work is with models who have previously worked with me or who contact me direct. Please contact me if you are interested after reading my portfolio.
