I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Emigrant.
He's professional, friendly and full of good ideas, but willing to let the model experiment.
He's also a genius at lighting :)
I would very sincerely recommend him to anyone looking for a relaxed, rewarding shoot with great results.

Carsten is a truly brilliant photographer. He sees the best in his models and the location and perfectly captures it. He is also extremely friendly and approachable. I would recommend anyone to work with him. Not only is shooting with him a wonderful experience but his processed images are incredible.

I saw Carsten for a shoot in March this year. He was professional, enthusiastic and very easy to work with. I would highly reccommend working with Carsten and look forward to our next shoot.

i had a shoot with Carsten and Paul today, and it was amazing. Carsten made me feel so at home, he is funny and very creative. he's got lots of ideas and his lighting skills are unbelievable. we produced some great shots today and i love them, i must say best shoot of 2010. I met Carsten when I was blind and mostly mute due to a heavy session of prosthetics! All I still have to recognise him is a voice in the dark but he was an enthusiastic presence who knew exactly what type of shots he wanted and how to achieve them. Focused Photography is a very apt title as this was the energy he channelled into the shoot. I had heard much praise for his work and upon receiving the shots I can see why! Thanks!
