Had a great shoot with Matt today - very friendly guy, made me feel totally at ease. Took soooo many pictures so hopefully got some great ones; from what i saw throughout the shoot i'm looking forward to getting the images. Definitely work with Matt again. Thank you!

Todays shoot with Matthew was pretty awesome. Great photographer, wonderful location, and I was impressed at his determination to get the shot he wants (even if it means balancing precariously on a swinging car door =P). With the amount of talent of one so young, I have no doubt that Matthew will go far in the photography world.

November 2010. Privalidge of working with a youthful, experienced, confident character with a camera. Matt basham is talented, imaginative with the ability to provide an unspoken narative smothered in atmosphere. Enjoyed the shoot tremendously with the outcome more than pleasing to the eye personally, and more than adequate as an experience. This young man socially cuts the mustard with clients with an ease and specialty all of his own. Matt is a fantastic photographer and person with bundles of energy for his life passion, photography - he takes his time with the photographs but gives excellent results.

I have worked with Matt both as a model and co-photographer, There are only a handful of people who I have met who are so patient or helpful with my work as well as his own!

If you are looking for a great photoshoot with someone who knows what they are doing and who will give you great results for your portfolio, I would definately and highly recommend Matt.

Although Matthew is still quite young you should not let his age deceive you. Matthew is extremely professional before, during and after a shoot. He uses his time productively testing the light and angles to ensure he’s going to get the perfect image and won’t start taking a set of photos until he is completely happy with the way the photos look on the test shots.

When Matthew feels that everything is perfect he will give precise and brilliant direction to the models in a very warm manner. Matthew was the photographer on my first Pin up shoot and made me feel so comfortable and put me at ease with the direction he gave me. Afterwards Matthew was hard at work editing the photos and provided me with photos of a high quality. Matthew is an extremely talented photographer and is someone who is going from strength to strength in his work. I would highly recommend Matthew to models of any level as he is more than capable and a lovely, warm and fun guy to work with. I feel extremely honoured to have worked with him on the two occasions I have and am excited to be working on a future project we have been discussing.
