ValVel came down to England on a road trip with a couple of other models. We had talked about shooting together for ages and was really pleased we finally got to. It was a very cold night but after a great (quick) shoot we went to the pub and for some grub. Great company and good fun-and a good model too! Good comms before the trip and a great attitude during. Recommended.
What can I say about Sarah that hasn't already been said before... other than she rawks!
She's one the of the most enthusiastic models I've ever worked with and a joy to shoot. Despite the language barrier we had a blast(she speaks some arcane language called Scottish). ;-)

3rd shoot with this lovely lady the other day and as ever, she was faaaab!! i asked her to sit in a pool of freeeezzing cold water, and she did!! i had a very particular idea in my mind, and im sure this girl can read minds because i came away with the exact images i wanted.... and i didn't even need to direct her!

Worked with Valentina on her recent trip to England. Great pre shoot communications meant we were fully prepared for the shoot. Fun, funky, beautiful and hardworking, what more could I ask for. Lovely down to earth model who does what is required and much more. Definitely recommended. x

Second Shoot:
Had another shoot with Sarah at Contrast in Glasgow; she came with so many awesome outfits that 3 hours in the studio just didn't seem like long enough! Sarah has some great poses, cracking expressions and works really hard to make sure you get some fantastic shots; she needs little direction and has a great understanding of what poses will work in particular outfits.
Sarah is also a lovely friendly person, and makes some unbelievable cakes and cookies!
Very highly recommended!
First Shoot:
Had a short location shoot with Valentina at the start of May. She has a great personality, came with plenty of outfits and props that were perfect for the location and was bursting with creativity.
Valentina has so many wonderful expressions and a really distinctive style that ensures you will get some great images.
Could also probably write a whole other reference about Valentina's baking skills - thanks for the cookies :)
Highly recommended and would love to work with her again.
Well here goes...
Anyone reading this should make themselves a cuppa and have a sit down this might turn into a rather long reference.
I first worked alongside Sarah earlier this year (as a model). Yesterday Rory (my partner) and I had another fantastic shoot with Sarah. I even managed to shoot her which was brilliant fun.
Her communications before the shoot were perfect, she understood the ideas we were going for and turned up with a suitcase which was crammed full of suitable outfits (I still think its kind of magic how much she managed to fit in there).
Sarah as a model on her own is great, she knows what expressions work even if she is placed out of her usual comfort zone she was able to deliver the poses/expressions which really worked for the shot. I also worked alongside her as a model and she was able to adapt to what I was doing. She needs little in the way of direction and poses quickly between shots.
If all thats not enough to make you want to book her she also turns up with lunch and homemade cakes for everyone (they were super yummy).
No need to say it but yes I would recommend Sarah, very good model with a great variety of expressions/poses and lots of fantastic clothes.

Ms Velvet was a star and I had great fun shooting with her in November 2009 for a charity calendar (which sadly never made print though I loved the shots we got) and then again in Spring 2010 for www.misshats.com
I had a great shoot with Valentina at the weekend. She was prompt, well organised and professional. The shoot went well and I'd have no issues recommending her to anyone.
I worked with Valentina at a group shoot last year, and was immediately impressed at her commitment, creativity and drive to be as good as she could possibly be.
I'm not surprised to see her portfolio now containing many strong images of which I have no doubt she contributed greatly to the creative process. (Really impressed with her attitude)
I only got the opportunity to take a few shots with VV, but saw enough to want to work with her again. Just haven't had the chance... yet!

What can i say but 'wow!'. She has as many great ideas as she has wonderful outfits (and not short on them either!). Working with VV is both fun fun and relaxing. And absolute star and one of the nicest and most encouraging models i've worked with.

I had the pleasure of working with Valentina, at a group shoot, at the end of last year and must say I was impressed not only with her reliability and communicative style which was very reassuring but also with her enthusiasm and ability to contribute and critique ideas at an artistic level for the imagery being created. This was one of her first shoots yet she handled herself like a consummate professional.
My partner and I wanted to work with Sarah due to her unique style.
It was a short notice shoot on location, she was utterly amazing. My partner is still very new to photography and Sarah was very patient and could pull some awesome expressions effortlessly.
Would highly recommend her to both experienced and new photographers looking for something a little different in their portfolio. She has the most beautiful hair and skin and comes loaded with gorgeous clothing and has a good sense of what types of fashion will work in whatever setting you put her into.
Although I was mainly there as a reflector holder I also got to model with her for a short while and she was happy to suggest her own ideas to enable us to get some variety in the shots.
I highly recommend this model, she should be on everyones 'MUST WORK WITH LIST' and both Rory and I would love to work with her again sometime.. Maybe some studio stuff ;-)

Travelled to Scotland to get a chance to shoot with Sarah and do my first 'lesson' in pinup and retro! I got a warm welcome and talented professional work from a marvellous model for the shoot - not to mention a hot bowl of 'stovies' - yum. We shot in Sarahs light and comfortable home. Well worth the drive and look forward to setting up a 'diner' and hot rod shoot amongst others. Thanks Sarah.
Had a fantastic burlesque style shoot with Sarah at the end of November! Communication leading up to the shoot was amazing, never arranged a shoot so quickly. Truly a natural at this, I believe she will go on to bigger and better things very quickly so I urge other photographers to get in quick!
I would strongly recommend and will certainly work with Sarah again in the future.
Attractive, confident and versatile model capable of adapting to the task set out. Although relatively new to modeling I was impressed with her approach and willingness to work with as well as add her own input to the shoot. Required no direction and I'm happy to recommend to other photographers.
