UPDATE - January 2013 - Another shoot with Derek - at mine this time. BRILLIANT! He is a lovely chap and works hard to create brilliant images - I absolutely enjoyed every minute and really love all the shots - very highly recommended.
December 2012 - Worked with Derek at the Hotel De Vie shoot so we only had an hour. He very much made the most of the time available as well as space (we ended up in quite a small room). He's very open to suggestion as well as having plenty of his own so we worked very well together to create some very cool and flattering shots.
Had a fabulous first shoot with Derek,lots of laughter an dgreat conversation,and we also managed to produce some lovely vibrant shots.
I look forward to working with Derek again on future projects :)

Derek it was the first photographer i have been working with at Hotel De Vie and that was a great start of the day :D, focused helpful and creative photographer and a very lovely chatty person really easy to get on with which makes for a good and enjoyable shoot,. he will go out of his way to make sure you are happy and comfortable.

Derek is lovely to work with and it was a pleasure to shoot with him. He has a very relaxed shooting style, is incredibly respectful of models and even provided me with lunch as he knew I wouldn't get a chance to eat before my next shoot. I can't say enough good things about him. Highly recommended to all models.
Had my second shoot with Derek this time at his cottage which is great for shoots, Lovely relaxed shoot and very professional. Great ideas and different light settings. I highly recommend shooting with him and using his cottage to shoot in if the option is there. Thanks again :)

I have worked with Derek 3 times now but this time at his very lovely home. We did some experimental shots that i think worked well. Derek is very friendly, kind and welcoming and with lots of tea on the go it was a great shoot. I highly recommend Derek to anyone and look forward to shooting again.x
I had a fabulous time with Derek on Tuesday. He was sooo funny and made me feel relaxed in the shoot and aldso have a wonderful time full of giggles. He was professional nand a true gentleman as well as having great comunication before and after the shoot . Had a super shoot with Derek on my trip to Kent last week! He is a lovely friendly guy, really Professional attitude and really easy to get on with and work with. Had a really enjoyable shoot with him, he had loads of really good creative ideas and wasn't afraid to experiment and try different ideas and lighting set ups, thoroughly enjoyed working with him and have no hesitatation in reccommending him to other Models.
He also came bearing gifts.. chocolate cookies.. yummy hehe! :)

I got to see uneditied verisions of the images before I left which looked really good so looking forward to seeing the final results.

Well just back from an afternoon out with Derek up here in sunny Scotland!!
What a day it was, I had so much fun. Pre-Shoot communications were excellent, he is very laid back and easy to get on with. It was a very enjoyable shoot and judging from the images which I have seen on the back of the camera I can say we got some really good shots.
He even brought some biscuits and plenty of liquid refreshments which was a good job because it was a very warm day.
Derek was very considerate and caring towards my comfort - I would highly recommend him, and would love to work with him again. I had a terrific afternoon!

I had a great fun, relaxed shoot with Derek this morning and I can't recommend him highly enough! He is extremely easy to work with and we got some great shots, even though we had to work in a cramped and tricky location (sorry!). A lovely bloke, good fun and he even brought me Xmas wine and Hobnobs - what a legend!! Thanks Derek :)
Had a FAB FAB shoot with Derek last week!! The shoot was very laid back but still he knew what he wanted to gain from the shoot i would highly recommend any models to shoot with derek from pro to amateurs.

Had a great shoot with Derek today. He was a complete gent and very easy to get on with. Open to all of my ideas and we got some great stuff. Also had lots of tea breaks :) will deff be working with Derek again if i get the chance.
Derek contacted me a while back to say he was going to be up here on a wee holiday and if we could arrange a shoot. I had a fabulous time in his and his wife's company. We got allot of sets covered and although he is newish to working with experienced models he was 100% professional. Would recommend indeedy! Hope we can work together again. Han
Worked on my first topless couples shoot, and couldn't have felt more instantly comfortable. A wide range of gear, coupled with a natural gift an excellent spacial awareness and 'vision' for his shots made for a great shots. Fantastic photoshopping skills too. The complete package! - Highly recommended.
I can't believe all the gadgets and gizmos you have! Thank you for a great days shoot and for helping turn my spare room into a studio. I look forward to seeing the edited photos and thanks for letting us choose what we wanted. Will be working with you again very soon.
