My people skills as a photographer are limited. I will be honest at saying I have some difficulty in directing people.
I have been taken photos of various things for a few years, but not with any seriousness or direction. I have recently joined a photographic society and am being re-inspired to try and develop my skills in various genres of photography.
Comments:
I am interested in All aspects of photography, though photographing models is an area where I have little or no skill which I am trying to develop. Due to my inexperience, I think I need to work with experienced models who don’t mind too much that the photographer is starting out photographing and directing people and has little or no skill. I am hoping that there are some experienced models out there willing to take me on and hopefully build a working relationship with. Or maybe some un-experienced models who are prepared to work with me to develop both our skills. Also I would like to work with models who would accept prints as payment to start with.
I have ticked the nude/glamour/topless options, but seriously this is low on my agenda until I have gained quite a bit of experience. I am more than happy for models to bring chaperones with them until they get to know me. I would consider it a sensible thing for anyone to do.
I would like to get some work published eventually, and would like to enter images into competitions.
I have my own studio lights, I’m just lacking the studio!!
Now me, I am friendly once I’m settled, when people first meet me they sometimes think I’m arrogant. I’m not, I am just a little shy, but when we’re all relaxed I can be quite funny. I’m oldish in years but not in mind, fairly openminded but do take things seriously. I have my own transport and am happy to come to you to work or collect you, however I’m not rich, recently being made un-employed.
