I am an extremely motivated individual with a passion for makeup artistry, and I am capable of producing high standards of work both alone and as part of a team, from the research and design process right through to the application of makeup and maintenance of continuity. I operate the highest standards of professionalism, and follow health and safety guidelines at all times. I have education in a broad spectrum of makeup media, such as airbrushing, camouflage, special effects and silicone prosthetics, and have a full and varied makeup kit of top quality brands and products. I have a full, clean driving license and I own my own car so can travel to locations, and a pleasant, committed attitude which I feel would make me a valuable member of any makeup department. Alongside my media makeup work, I also work as a facepainter, bridal makeup artist, editorial, make-over and portfolio makeup artist on a regular basis. I am a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 Make Up Artist, with experience in both Media Make Up, and Special Effects. I have just completed my degree in Media Design Make-Up Artistry, really honing my skills in areas such as hair design, airbrushing and body art, Styling for the Camera and Creative Make Up design, although I am a specialist in Special Effects, Prosthetics and Silicone. I am capable of simple hair styling, wet and heated sets, up-do's, ornamentation, padding, crimping, frizzing braiding etc. I use good quality, branded products and uphold the highest hygiene standards. I am punctual, reliable and professional, but also easy going and extremely personable. I enjoy being challenged and working hard to produce the highest quality of unique images, for photographer, model and MUA alike. I recently had the plesure of shooting Toni at a recent group shoot, and was most impressed by her modelling abilities. She needs no direction, which made my life very easy. Toni has a very bubbly personality, which makes shooting her a real pleasure.

10.8.09 - toni worked as a mua for my beach shoot - good communication before the shoot - and worked to the brief for the shoot, but was able to adapt to the changes in times and the weather. very easy to work with and the results were excellent. i would recommend. xxx
