Experience:
I have been published in newspapers, magazines and blogs and am trying to build up a body of editorial work. I have been doing photography for over a year and have worked with several different models for commercial, print or portfolio uses. I have also assisted several different photographers. I have been published in: FAB magazine FAB blog Zen Magazine Sheffield Telegraph Sheffield Star Profile Magazine Exposed Magazine Counterfeit Magazine Natural Belle Blog Our Africa Blog Asos.com Folk Magazine Norway (and many other smaller blogs) I have also done commercial fashion photography for Cerebus menswear, Ele Maudsley, Crybaby Aparel, One Kimono and Kitty Kanzashi. Some of art nudes recently got made into a painting :D I currently have an exhibition of my work in Urban Outfitters in Meadowhall, Sheffield.

I enjoy editorial and beauty photography the most as I like to tell a story with a variety of pictures or do a really high retouch :) I used to do a lot of work with a journalist called Almaz and had fun doing an editorial to match her words - a lot of the time about African/black interest. I am interested in boudoir photography, nudes, beauty, fashion for both male and female models. Most of the time I just shoot for fun and like a laid back shoot. Although I like to submit images and try getting them published. I look for models who are highly interesting and expressive and prefer to work with people who are direct. I'm open to ideas and love collaborating to achieve something we're both happy with. I often have assignments from journalists, designers or MUA to get through so if you like my work please get in touch and I'll see if I have a suitable project. ALthough I shoot a lot of fashion - I prefer shooting nudes. I almost always work with an MUA and /or stylist.

I had a shoot with Katie last week and she is absolutely amazing. Prior to the shoot she explained exactly what style of shots she was aiming to achieve which made it easy to get the photo's we wanted. She gives direction really well. Made me feel totally at ease and comfortable. I love Katie's work and would love to work with her again. Would definitely recommend her. Thanks Katie.
