Freelance photographer. http://www.nick-vidler.com/ CURRENTLY SEEKING FRESH FACES TO COLLABORATE WITH. I am currently looking for fresh faces to shoot with on a TF* basis, mainly involving outdoor work. You'll share my passion for fashion and being creative and hopefully will be brimming with ideas of your own and have artistic vision. You'll need to be versatile in your looks and be able to pull off a whole array of different moods. You'll have a classical and natural look and exude grace, poise and elegance. Height is not terrifically important to me and neither is skin colour but I am not interested in shooting with models whose build and looks are not suited to fashion work. What appeals to me are models who are slim, fashion conscious, stylish and have a sophisticated look. Ultimately I'm seeking models to collaborate with in the hope of creating some eye catching and iconic images which capture the viewers attention. ABOUT ME: Kent based photographer Nick Vidler started out on his creative journey as many photographers do shooting purely for pleasure. Since those early days I have made a substantial investment in pursuit of living my dream and achieving my ambitions in life. My passion for photography and the joy I derive from sharing it with others lead me towards pursuing my goal of becoming a professional photographer and turning my love of being creative in to my career. I am a highly creative individual who is passionate about my photography. As is the case with many notable creatives I am diagnosed as suffering with bipolar ( manic depression ) which is drug controlled. Due to my illness my life has been a roller coaster ride of highs and lows. Periods when I feel inordinately enthusiastic lead to an increase in creative activity. At the other end of the spectrum I can lapse into depression and seek solitude as I wait for the next burst of inspiration to arrive. Despite my condition I am a down to earth, sincere, caring and friendly individual with an appreciation for all things beautiful and a genuine enthusiasm for capturing it with the camera. As a creative individual photography is my prime source of income and I take my work very seriously. It simply isn't realistic or economically viable for me to continually shoot for free and I use the model internet sites as a resource to find suitable models when I have paid commissions to fulfill. I Will on occasions post casting calls seeking models to shoot with on a TF* basis when I am feeling creative and feel the need to refresh my personal portfolio :) With many years of experience behind the lens nowadays I primarily shoot fashion for designers and clothing companies which includes fitness wear and swim wear. I am also employed by a company as an equestrian photographer covering a large part of Kent. There are other sides to my business which includes creating starter portfolios and updates as well as offering a boudoir photographic service for private individuals. I also offer tuition in most aspects of photography as I have a genuine commitment to see other camera users enjoy and make the most of their individual creativity. With a strong desire to see more of the the World and to build up a unique and eye catching portfolio of images I have enjoyed some wonderful adventures. My travels have allowed me to participate in photo shoots in several countries around the globe as far south as New Zealand and as far north as The Arctic Circle as well as closer to home and the confines of photographic studios. I have experienced and enjoyed a large number of unique photographic opportunities in some wonderful and scenic locations. Countries visited outside of the UK include the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Norway, Lapland, France and Spain. NB: Although Kent based I operate throughout London and the South East region as well as further afield. Although I rely upon photography to provide me with my main source of income I personally don't pay models for shoots but occasionally have clients who do. When it comes to personal projects I am open to the prospect of collaborating with models willing to shoot on a TF* basis especially so if I feel you have a concept and look that appeals to me. I welcome inquiries from models of any ethnicity who share my passion for fashion and being creative. Finally had the pleasure of meeting Nick today fun to shoot with a good laugh and makes you feel really comfortable I would reccomend him to any model and his studio to any tog : )

Worked in Nick's excellent studio today on a shoot. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and a very nice and friendly person. Would highly recommend Nick's studio to any photographer looking for a wonderful studio in the south east to work from. Relaxed and accomodating atmosphere with an excellent professional on hand to offer advice and guidance where needed. Thanks Nick and I hope to shoot with you one day! 100% recommended.

I had the pleasure of working with Nick yesterday and we are already shooting again tomorrow! Holly was a fab MUA on our location shoot, the photos are so beautifull and well exicuited that i have dropped the glamour and gone all commercial! He has truley made a wonderful statement on my portfolio.
