Although being qualified in Photography for over 30 years, I chose to work in the advertising industry as an Art Director for London Advertising Agencies. Approx. 8 years ago I set up Maximus Operand Limited, this has grown into one of the Midland's largest exhibition printing businesses...the success of the printing side of the business has now allowed me to set up a large studio and go back to photography. STUDIOS, MAKE-UP AND HAIR STYLISTS The studios are warm, clean, private with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We have a brilliant Make-up Artist and Hair Stylists that can be called on to come in on a booked shoot if required. SEEKING COLLABORATORS I am always looking for models, actors and dancers who would like to work with me on projects. Experience in performing arts may be helpful, but modeling experience is not always required as direction will be given. Most projects do not require working fully nude, but models should be comfortable and confident with their bodies and sexuality. Since being on Purestorm I have been very lucky to work with some great models and I would like to thank them all for their hard work. Due to demand I now have to limit the number of TFCD shoot that I do, so please do not be offended if I have to decline any requests to do TFCD work. I am however looking to develop ongoing working relationships with a limited number of models who are happy to pose for high end Fine Art Nude experimental lighting projects. Perfect figures are not essential, but must have that X factor. CHAPERONES If you are going to be a professional model...do your research on the Photographer and the Models they have worked with. Like many other experienced Photographers who work in the Fine Art Nude field, we have a reputation to protect and always work on a strictly professional basis. If however you are under 18, even for fashion work, I always require a parent or guardian to be present. Remember PURESTORM is your shop window, so lets make the most of it with some great images!

Had a short shoot with Maximus recently at the stockport group shoot artistic nude event. During our session he acted in a professional manner and worked very well alongside the photographer he was paired with, was very polite and helpful to both myself and the other photographer.

He considered what he was wanting to produce and was good at giving direction too. Would work with him again if the opportunity arises.

I shot with Ian at a group shoot event in Stockport last weekend - he comes with a clear idea of the shots he would like to achieve and gives great direction to produce some fantastic images. I would definitely work with him again, and recommend him to any model.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Ian yesterday for a few hours.
Ian IS a totally professional photographer, in every sense of the title, as its his real full time job and he is excellent at it !
Although very professional in his work, Ian is a very warm, friendly and easy to work with person too.
Everything a model could hope for in any photographer they work with.
