Experience:
I am a very experienced, agency-signed, professional male model, looking for paid work only. My portfolio includes a wide range of modelling styles, from commercial and fashion, through to fitness, dance and artistic. I have represented a diverse selection of professional clients and businesses during my modelling career, which includes significant TV and media exposure, and I have been fortunate to work with many renowned and established photographers and models during this time. I negotiate my fee depending on the job and its requirements, though I have a minumum half day rate of £125 plus travel. Very exceptionally, I may work TFP on a project... if so, I request a copy of the RAW image files following the shoot. FEMALE MODELS - I have a large body of 'couples' work, and as such I do not do TFP in this respect. If a female model would like to shoot with me, they will either (a) need to find a photographer who is willing to pay for such a shoot; or (b) be willing to pay me themselves. I work very closely with 'Katy' as a professional modelling couple, and it is unfair to charge photographers to shoot me in one respect and not in another. I have a home studio to shoot from, with complete kit (3 x stobes, 2 x continuous lights, shoot-through umbrella's, bounce unbrella's, soft boxes, relectors, a snoot, filters, etc). In addition, I have access to a number of unique locations - these locations include a 13 acre private plot (3 acre lake, small wood, stables, industrial units and machinery, workshop, wood piles, etc), a fitness gym, a boxing gym, and a dance studio. I am a friendly, happy, and outgoing guy and I pride myself on being professional to work with, both in taking direction and in offering creative ideas and suggestions. A former officer in the marines, I am now a qualfied barrister, with degree's in biochemistry and law, as well being a qualified teacher, masseur and boxing coach... I would describe myself as a Jack of all trades (arguably a master of none!). Away from modelling, I dance (ballroom and latin) and run my own charity foundation called 'always with a smile'. Physically I keep my body in shape all year round, through boxing, weight training and dancing, and I have a natural/toned look. I contacted Joel about a couples shoot together a month or so ago now and he promptly replied saying 'yes'. I was so nervous but excited about working with a male model and especially him as I've seen so much of his work around over the time I've been modelling. I can honestly it was one of the best experiences I have had and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Joel had been rushed into hospital 2 days before our shoot for an emergency operation yet he still wouldn't cancel the shoots...what a trooper! He was in severe pain yet still managed to do the shoots together and be such fun to work with and be around. He is a great host, looking after me and feeding me and making sure I was warm.
Joel is in top shape and is a very good looking man, I imagine it would be hard to get a bad picture of him. The images I have seen back of us together are amazing and from the feedback on our shoots I believe we worked very well together and showed an affinity between us.
I would highly recommend you to work with Joel, be it solo or on couples shoots, he really is a true professional and deserves even more recognition. Thank you, Tillie x

Worked with joel last month on an underwater shoot. He was very proffesional, fun to work with and has a great attitude towards modelling. He has a very handsome look and a great body.

Shot with Joel on an underwater shoot yesterday. Joel is really nice guy, an incredibly talented and hard working model and made a superb contribution to the day with constructive input and suggestions. Joel has the ability to see the shot from the perspective of the photographer and this makes a huge difference to the end result. Very highly recommended.
