I'm an Art Nude & Fetish Photographer based on Merseyside and have a muse who comes up with shoot ideas bordering on insanity but they're always fun ArtOnCamera - Started out in the summer of 2007 as an exploration of the nude in the landscape. Since its conception it has grown and its ethos changed somewhat and now includes fine art nude photography not just shot on location, but within a studio setting as well. It is expected, as the project continues, that it will evolve and change in line with ArtOnCamera`s interests and aspirations. Over the next year or so the photographer aims to create a folio of erotic art photography with the emphasis on art - at the moment we envisage a three-pronged approach balanced between fine art nude, fetish photography and stronger erotic styles but never losing track of the artistic baseline upon which the original project was built. This evolution is, indeed, already happening with the recent launch of http://www.painandpleasure.me.uk, designed to showcase darker, more fetish based photography and http://www.artoncamera.com continuing with its ethos centred around a pictorial celebration of woman as seen through the camera lens, with a focus on going beyond just the "eye candy" found elsewhere, exploring the wide variations in the human figure, clothed and unclothed, against a backdrop of nature or carefully lit in a studio setting. The key to the images is what the models themselves bring to the setting, a dialogue between photographer and subject, inspired by art and nature, playfulness and desire. One of the main areas the photographer wishes to study is the Art of Shibari, so any models with an interest in the Art of Japanese Bondage are particularly welcome to contact us if they feel their knowledge and experience could be used to help create images that are a little bit more unique. Personal Focus -------------- Fetish photography has always grabbed my attention since the days when I was studying photography at college and was introduced to the genre by way of artists such as Robert Mapplethorpe and Bob Carlos Clarke. For http://www.painandpleasure.me.uk I`m interested in creating art with a dark foreboding feel to it, with macabre overtones, maybe even a sense of dread in the photographs we create, images that to a certain extent startle and stun the senses and leave a lasting impression upon the viewer; I use the term `we` because I regard photography to be a collaboration of minds and fusion of ideas from both the photographer and his model coming together in the final product... The Photograph! This project is very much about me expanding and exploring my limits in terms of my art, indeed, finding where my limits as a photographer lie and also yours as a model. If you`re reading this and want to create stunning images with me on interesting photography projects or as a model have ideas for a shoot that you think we could together work on with a view to creating some stunning imagery, feel free to get in touch and discuss the ideas? As there will still be some location work one of the main requirements for models contacting me is that you are extremely comfortable in your own skin and happy working to nude/fetish levels out of doors. Because so much of my work involves nudity I have a fairly strict rule concerning the age of any models interested in working with me, that rule being that I do not usually work with any model under the age of twenty-one. If a model enquiring about working with me appears to be younger, verifiable proof of age will be required prior to any shoot being arranged. The way in which I usually work is to think of a definite theme for a shoot, be it a poem, a scene from a play or film etc, or merely based upon a visit to a particular location. Once the muse has struck, the ensuing ideas are then researched and planned prior to shooting; my partner who sometimes works with me sketches the poses in advance and accompanies me on location shoots provides an extra pair of eyes to watch for strangers approaching. I especially appreciate contact from models who can take a creative approach to my shoot ideas and suggest and expand upon the theme based on their own abilities and interests. The photographer has long experience of landscape and nature photography, and brings to fine art and nude photography a sense of place and of form, looking for subtleties and interactions to create a stunning image.
