Oh dear. It seems that I should have added a huge smiley face at the end of my post to show it wasn't serious. If you go back and look at Hugh's original post on page 1 or 2 of this thread, then you might understand that I was just being the obligatory arsehole.

The saying "at times there has never been a truer word spoken in jest" springs to mind.................

Something that has been pretty obvious for a long time. They even go to the point of forming a "virtual" protective wall for them so they can protect them and allow them to be verbally abusive towards others and just agreeing with them in a sad pathetic way of false endearment. In their minds though its not false its real and they really think that she likes them. Without the Camera as a conversation point they would never have the courage to talk much to the opposite sex let alone approach with the view to asking to meet again. >>

It also works the other way around with some Models being falsely insipidly nice towards Men twice or three times their age to extract as much as they can thinking that their Brains are in their Trousers and so they can wrap them around their "wickle" Finger and if they can’t will kick them into the gutter as they have no further use. They moan about them but still take their money as it spends the same as anyone else’s. >>

Sad Muppets maybe, but without them would they manage without each other?

Speak for yourself. I have SO MUCH Style, Wit Charm and Charisma I am thinking of selling some of it on eBay as I have too much for my needs.

Honestly, I just see a bunch of men rationalising an impulse to ingratiate themselves with girls often less than half their age, sad little eyes lighting up with joy when a girl who would otherwise have no basis for conversation with them at all, says how wonderful they are.

Then you should have realised by now that forums on the internet, regardless of topic, tend towards being little more than slagging matches. I'm on forums ranging from video games and photography to fetish clubs and [b]warhammer[/b]. And you know what? Age, sex, topic, readership, subject, nothing matters. Thank you, thankyou! I really feel undervalued and demoralized lately with all of the criticism I see about models. Models are expected to be perfect yet are often required for shoots with less than perfect photographers. I know my flaws and I'm sure most other girls do too. If a photographer can't work around those imperfections, they should hire those who have none!

Too true!! I feel exactly the same and have pretty much had it! I'm going back into the horses full time in a few weeks as sick of all the shit that this so called job brings.

I've thought about having a tattoo for years and never have done.... till yesterday! I quite frankly thought sod it.

Why the hell should i spend my life walking on eggshells and complying to all these "rules" which are mostly made up by some jumped up old twat who only knows how to use his camera because hes spent the past 3 years sat at his pc reading forums and dummies guide to photography and still cant take a decent shot!

I'll eat what I want, when I want, if I put on 2lbs because i've over indulged at the weekend due to having a social life then tough shit!! Like the tattoo, if you don't like it don't book me and for gods sake don't sit on here and whinge about me!

It's like the boob jobs are horrible threads... If you don't like them, don't book a girl who has one, END OF!!!!

Models are constantly belittled, judged and made out to be liars and timewasters... Well guess what.... Models think photographers are a waste of space too!! (Not all, just the majority)
