As a happily married tog, there is only one person I want to 'get it off with' and it's not the model. When I'm photographing its a job - and not always a pleasurable one, but it's what I do to pay the bills. I wouldn't want to lose doing what I love for a living either.

Sounds like you've had some bad experiences.
I'd consider it unprofessional to make a pass at a model or make them feel uncomfortable on a shoot.
From my point of view, I seem to have a switch in my brain that causes me to concentrate on focus, lighting, pose etc. rather than anything letcherous.
Is the hair right? Is that shadow a bit too much? Is there enough light in the eyes? Is that highlight too harsh? Does she look natural?
That's what's going on in my mind during a shoot as I know I've only got a short time to make sure that it's right.

If a model is worried at all about a shoot, I usually ask my wife to be around. It helps remove any fears - as a shoot should be enjoyable. What's the point of doing it otherwise?

nope, i have only worked with very professional photographers. most married or something like it . photographers just want the shot. "you could be an apple for all I care, a very sexy apple , but your just a thing to bounce light off" he he . and i like it that way , its a job not a relationship. be professional
GWC tend to want the model . maybe you should try getting reviews from other models before working with someone new

Just for the record, there are pests the other side of the camera. I have had models pester the hell out of me. I have had models track down my works number a call me at work, ring me in the middle of the night, because she needed to talk to me and couldn't wait till morning, write me little letters, and dispite the fact I had a girlfriend at the time tell anybody who would listen that she was going to marry me. So it's not all one sided.

If I met you in a pub/ club etc yes.

If I hired you for a shoot then no.

My aunt had an official divorce party with a photographer. She also put all her wedding pics on a board and invited people to throw darts at them.

One of the pubs here actually advertised that it would provide free food for anyone wishing to host a divorce party there, and it was a very popular offer !
