The sort of chemicals you need for this task (usually mercury fulminate) are difficult to make in your average kitchen, and rather dangerous too. This is where so many would-be anarchists or terrorists tend to score own-goals.

My best mate at school used to mix his own in a basement laboratory.  His dad had his own company and was able to purchase the chemicals needed, and more to the point had an entire metal workshop to make shells, cartridges, mines & the like.

He was always blowing RedChecker is a naughty person up, LOL!  Great fun!
When you are dead, you do not know that you are dead. All of your pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

why make a gun and the trouble of bullets when you can make undetectable stabbing weapons instead which can be easily destroyed afterwards in a fire.

JFK would not have been assassinated if his killer had been armed with a knife, although Abraham Lincoln might still have been.

You could save a fortune on model fees by buying one. Just print a model and then everytime you want to pay to photograph another one, just print yourself a new model. Your house might get a bit full of models after a while though so then you could maybe advertise them in the casting call section... :-)
