Can't agree with any of it. Fails to take various obvious factors into account, - how one speaks, whether or not one has tattoos or piercings, owns a horse, uses a handkerchief, spits, irons creases in one's jeans, chews gum, buys lottery tickets, uses Nikon or Canon.....

You are right...us Canon users are obviously in the Elite category.....but what about film users using Canon gear? Much harder to place! Looking back over the questions asked...film is obviousy 'arts and crafts'...so a double bonus for me!!

I just can't see why I am still 'working class' according to the wizard....I even went to a proper art school !blush

The quiz seems very sensitive to a couple of the questions ... in my case I flick between two categories depending on what seems like different answers to a couple of questions... also, if I say that I'm a photographer rather than a 'tog', I jump up three places ;-)

Well done Britain for its continuing fascination with class

Everyone knows that the true test of class is whether or not you get out of the bath to have a wee.

Apparently technical middle class, out of interest I went back and changed a couple of things -who I socialise with but it had no bearing on the outcome..
Is it just the income they judge this from?

It seems like pointless twaddle to me.

Apart from affirming the obvious fact that the population includes a few very privileged people as well as a some underprivileged people and a bunch more in between, it doesn't give us any new tools to increase our understanding or improve society.

Whoever was responsible for the study deserve to become part of the Elite — by way of an Ignoble Prize.

I'm elite according to the test.
I own my own home, have a bit of cash stashed away and most of my friends are solicitors, teachers, nurses, police etc.
The daft thing is I'm a joiner by trade, I hate posh accents and drink left over gravy off my plate.
I'm confused

That's always been the problem with this country. The class system. We should take a leaf out of the Aussies book!
