I am looking for Ketts airbrush make up and the airbrush compressor. Does anyone know where I can get them from over here. Most of the ones I've seen are on American sites and I don't want to pay import tax. Any suggestions pls.

I did a lot of airbrushing once....I suspect any decent graphic airbrush will do for what you want (assuming the make up pigments are fine enough)...and at a pinch they can be driven by compressed air cylinders. I sold my complete kit on eBay and that might be a good place to start looking. The better quality art shops and graphic suppliers might stock them as well.

EDIT: Just had a look on eBay out of curiosity.......loads of stuff there including some reasonably priced decent looking compressors.......sad

Hi Wendie,

I'm sure Guru or PAM supply Kett and are both amazingly helpful stores, I regularly purchase from:

http://www.gurumakeupemporium.com

http://www.preciousaboutmakeup.com

If not:

http://www.makeupshop.ie/kett-cosmetics/Airbrush/c58 Based in Ireland but cant see why they wouldnt ship to UK.

Hope this helps.

Your choice of course but I had a look at the one on the Keats website and it looks like a pretty basic gravity feed duel action airbrush with a continuous motor air source....half the stuff on eBay will be both better and cheaper.

I can't comment on the make up supplied.....but again.....there are probably similar quality UK suppliers. Obviously it is formulated for spray application.....but that won't be rocket science.surprise
