| twentytwenty Photographer This member has been reset to pending | I used to find that all the time. open an image on your portfolio. click on it and save it back to your pc. when you open the saved image it looks fine. but viewing it across the site it seemed flat and desaturated. weird, sure somebody would know why. me clueless. |

Usually happens when you upload an image with the aRGB rather than sRGB profile attached. |

| mgphotomedia Photographer | You haven't converted the image to sRGB as detailed in the threads linked above. Your image is is still encoded with ProPhotoRGB - your working colour space in Photoshop. IT NEEDS TO BE CONVERTED TO sRGB BEFORE UPLOADING IT TO THE WEB. The reason it displays OK in Facebook is because Facebook is colour space aware (whereas most browsers are not) and FB strips the ProPhotoRGB colour space on upload and replaces it with one called C2 (FB's proprietory colour space which is very similar to sRGB) which in turn allows browsers to display colours accurately. |
