| CBPhotography Photographer Location United Kingdom Devon Ivybridge | Great replies thanks its just what I wanted. Plus I'm pleased that so far (fingers crossed) I didn't open my mouth and put my foot in it and no-one is upset by my clumsy wording in the original post. |

| AbiHillModel Model | Published professional plus size model here Also worth googling Robyn Lawley (who's just done a campaign for Boux Avenue), Candice Huffine (a regular for Simply Be and Tara Lynn (H&M+ and many more) - all three made up the notorious Vogue Italia plus size spread by Steven Meisel. |

| AbiHillModel Model | I think asking about looking to shoot plus girls in a flattering way isnt atall offensive- just show that you want to do a good job! What she said ^^ I think it's a skill to take photos of something still not considered the norm in modelling - and it is different to taking pictures of a straight size model. Anyone who tells you its the same and it's all down to her posing is talking poo poo. A couple of poses to stay away from are ones where your model is hunched, shoulders forward - it emphasises plus size lumps and bumps and hides curves, which is a bit pointless when shooting a plus size model! I also try to avoid loads of wide stances with my feet, don't find it too flattering on the thigh area but it varies from model to model. Some people want to emphasise certain shapes, others don't. |

| DerwentPromotions Agency | Is size 12 really "plus size" in the real world? It may be in the fashion world!!! I like girls with curves. Abi Hill is a really stunner and shows that big can be every bit as beautiful as a size 8! |

Abi Hill is a really stunner and shows that big can be every bit as beautiful as a size 8! Yeah, 12 is like the starting point for plus size though some agencies take 10s as plus size depending on shape - some people want a slim but curvy woman and agencies have cottoned on to this now. In the real world, plus size tends to start from a size 14 if you look at retailers like Simply Be (though they do stock certain ranges in a 12). New Look Inspire starts from a 16/18 i think, as does Gemma Collins' debut collection. |
