| Tayla Model  Location United Kingdom Gloucestershire Gloucester | I know it sounds bonkers but I love shooting in derelict locations but I get really scared. I went to one location which was a derelict hotel and someone told me there was a mattress upstairs where someone had been sleeping and I was very wary of stepping on needles/glass etc. I went to shoot in there a few times but any slight noise I was straight out of there. I just have visions of some homeless person coming out whilst I'm shooting or going into a room where people are using the place to take drugs/drink etc. I love the images you get from shooting in these sorts of places though. Has anyone had a bad experiences of shooting in these sorts of places or is it usually alright? |

| SuzyMonty Model  Location United Kingdom Cornwall UK & Europe -enjoy travelling! -Published Internationally | Have always LOVED shooting in derelict locations...much more creative - did a super shoot with the super Tony Pattinson recently in Plymouth..and whilst the HUGE whole building was derelict, broken glass etc., and one has to be very careful (like you say) see red stockings picture which was taken on stairs leading down to cellar...there was ONE room (white stocking picture) that was done up like a 1960's loft studio - just amazing.  |

We discussed the location beforehand and I got excited at the possibilities...he showed me round all the various floors when we got there...a long tour...and then I got to change in the loft type room. My creative juices were flowing as it is a mega location. When you are in the South West again - contact him for a shoot there...he's great to work with.  |
